Laura Rutledge’s children Reese and Jack pick winner of Alabama-Georgia showdown

Laura Rutledge’s children Reese and Jack make their college football picks every week, and did so once more as Alabama and Georgia prepare to go at it in Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday.

Both of them went back and forth, though Jack did go up to the Alabama helmet first and Reese settled on Alabama after some heavy consideration, noting that two of her favorite quarterbacks were Carson Beck and Jalen Milroe.

Alabama and Georgia are set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT in Tuscaloosa for what will be one of the most important games on the 2024 season as both teams, for now, look to have a very real shot at going all the way and winning a national title.

This matchup will likely be determined by a combination of things, the most paramount being quarterback play, winning the turnover battle, avoiding self-inflicted wounds and who comes out on top of what will likely be a defensive battle at the end of a close game.
