One of the biggest rivalries in college football will take place on Saturday when Georgia and Florida play in Jacksonville.

ESPN host Laura Rutledge called on her daughter, Reese, to make a pick for this week’s game between Georgia and Florida. Last week, Rutledge’s daughter was recorded making a selection for last week’s LSU-Ole Miss game.

Since this week’s game is happening 2 days before Halloween, there was a twist to the game selection. While wearing a princess costume, Reese explained how this could be a close game.  Ultimately, Reese picked Georgia to win the game.

Reese apologized to her mother for picking Georgia. Rutledge attended the University of Florida and is a known fan of the Gators. She also apologized to former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow for picking against the Gators. Tebow and Rutledge work together on the SEC Network on Saturdays.

As the No. 1 team in the country, Georgia needs to continue winning to remain in contention for the College Football Playoff. Georgia has won 4 of the last 5 meetings over Florida. The lone win in that period came in 2020 for Florida. In 2021, Georgia managed to pull off a 34-7 win over Florida.

Jacksonville will host today’s neutral-site rivalry game between Florida and Georgia.
