Lee Corso is once again absent from ESPN’s “College GameDay.” The traveling pregame show is in Austin ahead of No. 4 TCU at No. 18 Texas. Saturday’s show opened with a 4-man desk of Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit.

Corso has dealt with health issues throughout the year. He has now missed 5 shows, including the last 3 at Jackson State, Georgia and Texas.

Corso’s first missed show came on Oct. 1 for the Clemson-NC State game. Corso had made the trip to Clemson, but woke up feeling under the weather and went to get medically checked out.

The following week, Corso also missed the show from Lawrence, Kansas. Last month, Corso returned for shows in Knoxville (Alabama-Tennessee) and Eugene (UCLA-Oregon) before missing the next 3.

Reporters Jen Lada, Gene Wojciechowski and Jess Sims, along with research producer Chris ‘The Bear’ Fallica and college football insider Pete Thamel round out the “GameDay” crew in Austin. Texas alum Jordan Spieth will join “GameDay” as Saturday’s celebrity guest picker.
