Lee Corso did something 10 years ago on College GameDay that nobody has forgotten about — he dropped an f-bomb during the headgear pick.

Corso’s bad language happened during the SMU at Houston College GameDay show. If you haven’t seen it, here it is below.

Well, Kirk Herbstreit interviewed Corso about that incident Saturday morning prior to GameDay’s appearance for Michigan at Michigan State, and he asked him about the 10-year anniversary.

“Ten years. I can’t believe it,” Corso told Herbstreit. “I’m so embarrassed. The funny thing about it is I got home and my grandkid’s said, ‘Grandfather, you’re a hero on the Internet. You said a bad word on television.’ I said, ‘Geez, what a way to be a hero to your grandchildren.’

“I was so embarrassed. … I haven’t thought about it much. It was really a disappointing thing. … They wrote me a little apology and I read it while smiling. They said, ‘You know, take two. This is serious though.’ … We’re still here, and I can’t believe it.”

You can see Herbstreit’s interview below:

Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and the College GameDay gang will be live from East Lansing, Michigan, at 9 a.m. ET Saturday morning.
