Lee Corso drops early predictions for College Football Playoff semifinals

Lee Corso and the College GameDay crew will be live from the Orange Bowl Friday morning previewing the College Football Playoff semifinal games.

Before every GameDay, Kirk Herbstreit releases a video with Corso previewing the day, and Friday was no different. Herbstreit got right to the point and asked Corso to predict the Playoff semifinals.

The GameDay analyst predicted the Cotton Bowl Classic first.

“I like Alabama,” Corso said. “I think Cincinnati will move the ball on them, but I think Alabama will outscore them by 14.”

Corso then turned his attention to the Orange Bowl.

“I’m worried about this one,” Corso continued about the Orange Bowl. “I think Georgia is going to win, but I tell you what — Stetson Bennett, the quarterback from Georgia, I’m not sure he can win the national championship. … I think it’s going to be very close. Michigan is going to pound them and will be a good game. 23-20 Georgia.”
