ESPN’s College GameDay was back on Saturday, but with a different feel.
Host Rece Davis anchored the show from ESPN studios in Bristol, Connecticut while Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard and David Pollack contributed remotely from their homes.
Corso had the most elaborate home setup with cardboard cutouts of the rest of the GameDay crew surrounding him in his Florida home.
Corso’s virtual setup should be just for this week. Earlier Saturday on SportsCenter, Herbstreit shared that the GameDay crew will be back on the road next week. Wake Forest, facing No. 1 Clemson, gets the honor of hosting the first GameDay of the 2020 season.
The ACC opening-week clash is set for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff on ABC.
