Leonard Fournette says he “will never jump ship” if LSU football shuts down for 2016

Late this week, Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards made some veiled threats about shutting down colleges and universities across the state in May because of the state’s budget crisis.
That would mean a grade of incomplete for all students as well as being ruled ineligible for all athletes, including LSU football players.
But the athletes aren’t running for the hills.

Fournette is an early favorite for the 2016 Heisman trophy.
