Leonard Fournette speaks out on alleged street fighting video: ‘We were not fighting’

The last thing any college coach wants is to see his star player embroiled in controversy of any kind — especially with the start of the regular season right around the corner.
On Wednesday, a video of LSU running back Leonard Fournette ‘fighting’ teammate Garrett Brumfield was leaked. LSU condemned the video, describing it as horseplay.
Fournette decided to address the incident on his Twitter page.

Appearing remorseful, Fournette will surely hope this puts the issue to bed as the Tigers look toward their season opener against Wisconsin on Sep. 3.
