Leonard Fournette had a frustrating Saturday.

The nation’s leading rusher was held to 31 yards rushing on 19 carries by Alabama’s dominating defense. Even worse, his then-No. 4 LSU Tigers fell to then-No. 7 Alabama, 30-16, in a game with major SEC West and College Football Playoff implications.

Fournette did not speak to reporters after the game. But he did express his thoughts on Twitter Sunday afternoon.

One game shouldn’t define Fournette, who was widely considered the frontrunner for the Heisman Trophy heading into Saturday’s game. After all, he has 1,383 yards rushing and 16 touchdowns in eight games, an average of 172.8 yards and two scores per game. And the Tigers are 7-1 and ranked ninth in the latest AP Top 25.

LSU will try to bounce back from the loss next Saturday, when it hosts Arkansas (5-4) at 7:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.
