Like other Auburn fans, Charles Barkley hates everything about Monday’s National Championship

There will be no more disgusted fan base than Auburn’s on Monday — not even close — when Alabama and Georgia battle for a national championship.

Not only are ‘Bama and UGA the Tigers’ two biggest rivals, but Auburn beat both teams this past season. Unfortunately, Auburn lost to Clemson, LSU and then Georgia in an SEC Championship Game rematch.

So, of course, the Tigers didn’t make the College Football Playoff despite having wins over both title game participants.

Alumnus and NBA on TNT personality Charles Barkley feels the pain just the same as many other Auburn fans do.

Going by his comments on Thursday, it seems as though Barkley is pulling for Georgia — but he’s definitely not happy about it. Pulling for Alabama would never be an option, though:

Of course, Barkley still isn’t too thrilled about Georgia, either. He’s still salty over the Bulldogs’ dominant SEC Championship Game victory over Auburn.

“I’m praying that this game ends in a tie,” Barkley said later on the show.
