Louisville is currently stuck in a rain delay during its home opener against Indiana State and that doesn’t seem likely to change anytime soon.
The Cardinals are winning 7-0, but from the looks of things, play may not resume.
Several reporters in attendance for Saturday’s game shared photos and videos on Twitter of Cardinal Stadium being flooded by the storm.

Louisville, Kentucky is currently under a tornado watch until 11:00 p.m. EDT and is facing a 99 percent chance of humidity, 67-degree dew point and winds of 9 miles per hour, according to Weather.com.
A game will be delayed if lightning is within eight miles from the stadium and will not resume until there is no sign of lightning for 30 minutes, according to NCAA rules via the Courier-Journal.
Louisville currently leads Indiana State, 7-0, following a 55-yard punt return for a touchdown by Rodjay Burns in the first quarter.
