Gus Malzahn and his staff released the initial depth chart of the 2017 season Tuesday in preparation for the first game versus Georgia Southern.

Weeks ago, Jarrett Stidham was named the starting quarterback. Now, a number of other position battles have been finalized for Week 1.

The Tigers are loaded at running back with Kamryn Pettway and Kerryon Johnson lining up in the backfield. They will find gaping holes through the right side behind senior guard Braden Smith who is one of the best offensive lineman in the country. Tre’ Williams should have another strong season at outside linebacker.

Auburn tests this opening roster against Eagles Saturday night at 7:30 ET on the SEC Network.

Here is the depth chart that was posted Tuesday morning.
