LOOK: Cold weather keeps Ole Miss fans away from Grove Bowl

The Ole Miss Rebels held their annual spring game on Saturday afternoon, but the weather wasn’t very spring-like, as cold temperatures blanketed the southeast.

That seems to have kept many fans away from the Grove Bowl, as the attendance was quite sparse, to say the least, at kickoff.

As you can see in the picture below, attendance was severely lacking on Saturday afternoon:

Those who were in attendance saw a great first quarter, with a couple of big plays by WR D.K. Metcalf.

However, fans weren’t eager to brave the cold, wet weather. It also doesn’t help that the Rebels are banned from postseason play this fall, but still, this is a poor attendance mark.
