LOOK: Embarrassing turnout at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium for Ole Miss-Kent State game
Those 11 AM games are always a little tough, especially when you’re hosting a lesser opponent. Throw in the fact that Ole Miss took a beating at the hands of No. 1 Alabama last week and you’re probably looking at a new low when it comes to attendance at home.
Ole Miss had this problem on Saturday when they hosted Kent State at noon.
Check out these images of the stadium via The Local Voice on Twitter:
That’s definitely not the way the Rebels wanted to end this three-game homestand. The Local Voice also mentioned that they weren’t sure if they had ever seen Vaught-Hemingway this empty before.
We’ll see if more fans can find their way in by the second quarter or so.
