LOOK: Fans hilariously mock NFL for giving Drew Brees a certificate after breaking all-time passing record

What do you get when you set the NFL’s all-time passing yardage record?

Apparently, just a paper certificate. That’s what Drew Brees was handed after breaking Peyton Manning’s record on Monday Night Football.

Brees went into the record books with a 62-yard touchdown pass, and then play was halted while he was awarded the certificate.

Immediately after that moment, fans flocked to Twitter to mock the NFL for the simple-looking certificate. Check out some of the best tweets below:

Perhaps the NFL will come up with something a bit classier if and when Brees breaks Manning’s all-time touchdown record. Based on how the NFL usually operates, though, probably not.
