LOOK: Fans will be able to watch up to 4 games at once on Apple TV’s ESPN app

If you have the latest version of Apple TV, you’ll be able to watch up to four ESPN games at once this season.

ESPN announced the launch of MultiCast on the tvOS ESPN app for Apple TV on Wednesday. The tvOS operating system is used on the fourth generation (the most recent version) of the Apple TV device. To use MultiCast, one must already subscribe to a pay TV service that has ESPN. The ESPN app allows viewers to access broadcasts on ABC, ESPNU, SEC Network and various other ESPN networks.

The MultiCast features up to five different layout styles based on how many broadcasts the viewer wants to watch at once. Viewing options, shown below, include picture-in-picture, split-screen and grid view as well as other layouts.
