Florida and head coach Dan Mullen recently made a cross-country, in-home visit to U.S. Army All-American quarterback Matt Corral.
Corral is a 4-star, pro-style quarterback, and is the Gators’ top-rated commit for the 2018 recruiting class.
He is listed as the No. 3 pro-style quarterback in the country, and is the nation’s No. 60 overall player, according to the 247Sports Composite.
The 6-foot-2, 196-pound Long Beach, Calif. native has been committed to Florida since July. He has other impressive offers from schools including Alabama, Georgia, USC and Michigan.
Corral is apparently looking forward to an upcoming visit to The Swamp this weekend.
He tweeted out the photo below on Monday evening:
Thank you Coach Mullen and Coach Johnson for coming to visit.
I will see you this weekend in the Swamp. 🐊 pic.twitter.com/imPHGFcXq6
