In the state of Alabama, the Iron Bowl rivalry is king, with fans choosing sides from birth and fiercely hating the other team.
However, former Auburn WR Ben Obomanu recently crossed the rivalry line and graduated from Alabama’s law school.
On Tuesday, the former Seattle Seahawk posted that he was “forever an Auburn Tiger” while showing off his fancy new law degree from Alabama:
I am more than an athlete. The @NFL was dream #2. Dream #1 has always been to become a lawyer! A few days ago, that dream became a reality. JD from Alabama but forever an Auburn Tiger! Jer. 29:11 #GodsPlan #WarEagle pic.twitter.com/9Mnh3VBaTl

Obomanu played six seasons in the NFL for the Seahawks and Jets, recording 88 catches for 1,217 yards and seven touchdowns.
Now, he’s ready to embark on his next journey as a lawyer. We’ll see what sort of law he decides to practice, but with his Auburn and Alabama education in hand, he’s ready to take on his next challenge.
