Tennessee quarterback Jarrett Guarantano made a new friend on Sunday.

Guarantano met his “new best bud,” Keaton Jones — a Knoxville middle schooler whose anti-bullying video went viral on Saturday.

“It was unbelievable to get to know him and realize that we have a lot in common,” Guarantano wrote on Twitter. “This dude is very special and has changed my life forever.”

Those are pretty strong words coming from a guy who has to face SEC defenses every week.

“Now I have the little brother I always wanted!” Guarantano added.

Pretty cool.

Guarantano’s teammate, Tyler Byrd, initiated a movement for Tennessee fans — and a lot of other people, for that matter — to “show some love” for Jones after the youngster was captured in a heartbreaking video describing his own dealings with bullies.

Several Tennessee players are scheduled to visit Jones at school on Tuesday.
