LOOK: Kentucky to wear Nike’s self-lacing shoes during game vs. South Carolina

When the Kentucky Wildcats take the court against the South Carolina Gamecocks on Tuesday night, they’ll be sporting a futuristic look.
That’s because the team will be wearing Nike Adapt BBs — self-lacing sneakers.
As you can see below, the Wildcats teased the shoes on their Twitter account. The sneakers don’t go on sale until Feb. 17, so this is a sneak peek for Nike fans:

This is kind of a big risk for Nike. The Wildcats have won their last seven SEC games and their last eight contests overall. What if they lose to the Gamecocks? That might mean a switch back to their regular shoes.
But, just think of all the time they’ll save by not having to tie their shoes tonight!
