Usually students and fans are excited for the start of the college football season, but that doesn’t seem to be the case in Cardinal country.
Stanford opened up their 2018 season against San Diego State, a team they lost to by three points last year.

It’s worth mentioning that the Stanford students haven’t arrived on campus yet. According to Stanford’s academic calendar, their first quarter does not begin until Sept. 24.
Still, if this was an SEC venue, you could expect their stadiums to be near capacity.
