LOOK: Tennessee fans ticked at Butch Jones after heartbreaking loss to Florida
Butch Jones and Tennessee found out what it’s like to be on the other side of a Hail Mary Saturday night.
The Volunteers managed to squeak by Georgia Tech in the season opener, but they weren’t fortunate enough to beat the Gators on the road, losing 26-20. With Florida having two of its best offensive players suspended for the game, Jordan Scarlett and Antonio Callaway, this is not how Volunteers’ fans envisioned the game turning out.
Tennessee outgained the Gators on offense, committed less penalties, and won the time of possession battle, but still managed to lose the football game. Butch Jones’ seat may have only gotten warmer after this game. Many fans hit up Twitter to express their dissatisfaction in Jones.
100% should have never been in that situation. That game is all you @UTCoachJones pic.twitter.com/89qdqXbeJu

We don’t deserve John Kelly.
We don’t deserve Butch Jones.
Two sentences that sound exactly the same but totally different meanings.

If Butch Jones is still employed by Tennessee after this season, then they clearly couldn’t care less about the football program.
