LOOK: Tennessee gets brutal jab from fellow in-state school Carson-Newman after loss to Georgia
Tennessee can’t catch any breaks Saturday.
Carson-Newman University is located in Jefferson City, Tennessee. The Eagles have a historic football program and compete in the South Atlantic Conference, part of the NCAA’s Division II college football level.
Many have poked fun at Tennessee following a 41-0 home loss to Georgia. The Eagles are no exception. After the 31-18 victory over No. 23 Catawba College Catawba Indians, Carson-Newman sent a harsh message to Vols’ fans via Twitter.
We know one team in the state of Tenn. that knows how to score points and beat top 25 teams.
