Just over a week ago, Tennessee shared a video of the work being done to the football program’s weight room. According to the team’s Director of Strength and Conditioning Craig Fitzgerald, the Vols were building “the best facility that’s ever been.”

Tennessee literally ripped off all the floors in the facility and were in the process of installing flooring described as the “best in the world” by Fitzgerald.

We can now provide an update on the renovation, as the heavy lifting is complete and the room is ready to be used by Tennessee’s players.

Here is a photo of the new weight room, posted by assistant coach Bert Biffani on Twitter:

Fitzgerald couldn’t hide his excitement early Friday morning and also posted this video of the racks being taken from the indoor practice facility and placing them in the weight room. The summer weight training program is now ready to begin on Rocky Top.
