SEC fans may not hold UCF football in the highest regard after the Knights’ “claimed” the 2017 national championship over College Football Playoff winner Alabama, but the school’s military-appreciation helmets are likely to win over some fans.

UCF first donned the look last season, and it looks to continue the tradition this season as well.

Similar to last season, the Knights’ equipment team is allowing players to choose which military branch each player wants to represent on his helmet stripe. The words are stenciled into each sticker, making for a nice contrast with the black helmets.

The UCF logo, which comes in a sharp computer-generated camouflage, remains the same on each helmet.
