Sitting at 0-2 after losses to Cincinnati and San Diego State, the UCLA Bruins are understandable underdogs in Saturday night’s meeting with Oklahoma at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
The return game of a home-and-home, the Sooners thrashed the Bruins in Norman in 2018, 49-21.
While it is only year two of the Chip Kelly era, he has just a 3-11 record at the school, a far cry from the 46-7 mark he posted at Oregon from 2009-12.

With the graduation of Wilton Speight and Devon Modster’s transfer to Cal, Kelly has been relying on sophomore Dorian Thompson-Robinson at the quarterback position.
A four-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite, Thompson-Robinson was the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in the 2018 class and committed to UCLA over Michigan.
