LOOK: Vandy unveils Salute to Service ‘Deep Water’ uniforms for matchup with Kentucky

The Commodores will be wearing very special uniforms when they take on Kentucky this Saturday.
Vanderbilt will be doing a “Salute to Service” on Saturday and the special military-themed uniforms look fantastic. The look, titled “Deep Water,” will feature a unique helmet. The pattern on the helmet resembles waves on the ocean with the anchor emblem of the Commodores on the side.
The names on the back of the jerseys will also be a bit different as the names will be those of military members who have fallen in the line of duty.
Vanderbilt Football unveiled the look Wednesday on Twitter, and it is an awesome tribute:

Saturday’s kickoff against the Wildcats is set for 4 pm EST on the SEC Network.
