The former Arkansas and South Carolina coach was representing the Fighting Irish in the video by wearing a Notre Dame jacket. Holtz had a 60–21–2 record with the Razorbacks and a 33-37 record in the Gamecocks. Although Holtz should be given some credit for helping lay the foundation for Steve Spurrier’s era in Columbia.
The video was posted in anticipation for the Indiana primary on May 3 and Holtz even gives a shoutout to the residents of the Hoosier state.
