Jalen Hurts is fresh off a Super Bowl MVP and there was a surprise in store for Eagles fans in Philadelphia on Friday as the city holds a championship parade.
Next to the iconic LOVE sign in Philly, there’s now temporary HURTS signage in bright red letters. The result is a pop-up that reads “Love, Hurts.”
It appears this is part of Jordan Brand’s ongoing campaign for Hurts, which also included a commercial that aired in the moments after Philly’s 40-22 win over Kansas City in Super Bowl 59 on Sunday night. Here’s a visual of the new-look LOVE statue in Philly:
Hurts is even wearing a Jordan Brand ‘Love, Hurts’ hoodie during the Eagles parade on Friday. Of course, it’s worth noting that this campaign is fittingly taking place on Valentine’s Day:
Hurts just completed his 5th NFL season since he starred for Oklahoma and Alabama at the collegiate level. He’s won 2 NFC titles as well as last week’s Super Bowl. Hurts has an overall record of 46-20 during the regular season since taking over as Philly’s starting QB. He’s also 6-3 in the postseason.
