SEC teams may have an even tougher time throwing the ball against LSU starting in 2018.
The school that has produced NFL defensive backs like Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu is putting together quite the secondary for 2018 and beyond.
After receiving commitments from five-star CB Kelvin Joseph and three-star CB Corione Harris, the Tigers got more good news on Saturday:
Can indeed confirm that #LSU picked up a commitment from Miami DB Nadab Joseph.
Corey Raymond got another talented Florida DB.

Though Joseph had offers from other schools, nola.com said he was waiting for the Tigers to make their move:
“When I got the offer I didn’t even know I had it,” Joseph said. “Somebody came up to me and told me ‘congrats you have an offer.’ I kind of stepped back like — I knew I was going to commit because I have been waiting on this for a long time.”
Chalk up another victory for LSU defensive backs coach Corey Raymond, who knows what he’s doing on the recruiting trail:
Raymond is building a reputation as a tremendous recruiter. His nonchalant demeanor and direct approach resonates with a lot of prospects, including Joseph.
“He’s pretty cool and easy to talk to,” Joseph said. “I can go to him and share with him and he will listen. He is very honest with me.”
At some point, LSU will have to add some other positions to their 2018 class, but it’s shaping up to be a great haul for the Tigers’ defense.
