LSU-BYU game organizers hope to fundraise for Houston flood victims following Hurricane Harvey

Hurricane Harvey has done a tremendous amount of damage to parts of the United States.
Certain hurricanes have been detrimental to sea-bordering states in the past. Think Hurricane Katrina. Harvey is another that has caused a ghastly amount of damage. Because of this, many are trying to help the victims that have been affected.
Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt has helped raise over $1.5 million. Comedian Kevin Hart donated $25,000 and challenged other celebrities to do the same. Other celebrities and everyday people have also donated to the cause.
They aren’t the only ones. Now there is a possibility that a number of other big companies will help financially.
#LSU-BYU game organizers also are in talks with ESPN, Disney and Red Cross with fundraising plans for flood victims in Houston and beyond.

BYU and LSU were set to play Saturday night at NRG Stadium. As of Monday, the Houston based stadium is no longer the site for the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff game.
Instead, the teams will play in Mercedes-Benz Superdome, located in New Orleans. The game will still kick 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The move is understandable because of the flood damage in the Houston area. See below.
