LSU celebrates victory over Arkansas with pig feast

LSU celebrated its victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks in one of the SEC’s greatest rivalries in only the most appropriate fashion. The Tigers did so by holding a bacon feast.

It’s a common tradition for opponents of the Razorbacks to showcase their disdain by doing something like this, or even more classically, roasting a pig (a common sight at SEC tailgates).

LSU’s social media team took to X with a post of a pork dish captioned “Bacon for breakfast, lunch and dinner.” Here’s a look at that prime example of trolling:

This is fitting for the way the Tigers absolutely dominated the Hogs in the latest Battle for the Boot contest, topping the Razorbacks in Fayetteville, 34-10 to move to a 6-1 overall record. With this, the only loss that LSU has suffered so far this season is the 27-20 fall to the USC Trojans in the first game of the season.

LSU will go up against another 6-1 SEC team just like itself up next on the schedule as the Tigers face the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. CT in College Station, which has always presented a hostile environment filled with tradition that will serve as quite the road test for the Tigers.
