LSU fans feel like they got robbed with Citrus Bowl loss

LSU fell to Notre Dame 21-17 in Monday’s Citrus Bowl.

It was a heartbreaking finish for the Tigers as they gave up a ridiculous, one-handed touchdown catch to the Fighting Irish with just 1:28 left in the game.

Head coach Ed Orgeron said LSU didn’t do a good job of tackling on that play, hence the TD allowed.

But the Tigers botched a key situation late in the game when they were just inches away from a touchdown themselves. Orgeron elected to kick a field goal on fourth down — which LSU missed — and fans weren’t happy about it.
