LSU kicker wearing custom cleats to honor friends who died in July car crash
Over the summer, LSU kicker Colby Delahoussaye was involved (and hospitalized) in a fiery car accident that took the lives of Nebraska punter Sam Foltz and former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler. The three were leaving the Kohl’s Kicking Camp in Wales, Wis. when the vehicle lost control on wet pavement, left the roadway and struck a tree.
Delahoussaye will be honoring his friends during the Tigers’ upcoming game vs. Auburn in a special way with these custom cleats:
This is for my two boys, I got you guys always with me! This season is for y'all! Love and miss you two. @samfoltz27 @Sadler_3 pic.twitter.com/8PYAfGTsQF

This is an awesome tribute from Delahoussaye, who connected on his first field goal attempt (1-for-1) of the season in last week’s 23-20 win over Mississippi State.
