LSU added a major prospect to its 2024 recruiting class on Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers landed a commitment from 3-star EDGE Ahmad Breaux. He garnered interest from programs across the country, but ultimately chose to stay closer to home at LSU.

Breaux received an LSU offer earlier this month. He was previously committed to Duke, but backed off of that pledge on Sunday morning.
He attends Ruston High School in Ruston, Louisiana. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 255 pounds. Breaux has also received offers from programs like Missouri, Stanford and Purdue, amongst others.
Breaux is a big addition for LSU’s 2024 recruiting class. He currently ranks as the No. 667 overall prospect and the No. 53 EDGE in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 15 player from the state of Louisiana.
LSU is off to a very strong start in the class of 2024. The Tigers already have 10 commitments in this class. Overall, the group ranks No. 2 nationally according to 247Sports Composite rankings
