After rolling to a 56-0 victory in their home opener, the LSU Tigers have moved up in both the coaches poll and the AP Top 25. They now sit at No. 9 in the coaches poll, up three spots from last week, and at No. 10 in the AP poll after ranking 12th last week. It is LSU’s first time appearing in the top 10 of either poll since week eight of last season.

The Tigers rolled up 584 yards of total offense against Sam Houston State, Travin Dural hauled in three touchdowns and four freshmen got into the end zone. LSU faces Louisiana-Monroe in Baton Rouge next week.

After receiving one first place vote in the AP poll last week, LSU did not receive any votes for the top spot this week.
