LSU names additional captain for Saturday’s game at Arkansas

The LSU Tigers named an additional team captain ahead of Saturday’s game against Arkansas in junior running back Josh Williams as was announced via Twitter on Friday.
Williams was formerly a walk-on who earned a scholarship and has since become a player who has both seen significant playing time and has made a small splash on the NIL scene in the midst of a new era of college football.

So far this season, he totals 359 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns on 73 attempts. LSU and Arkansas are set to kick off at 11 a.m. CT in Fayetteville, Arkansas with the Tigers favored to come out on the right side of the win column.
