LSU RB Leonard Fournette warms up, is listed as starter against Mississippi State
Looks like Leonard Fournette will play tonight after all.
The junior running back warmed up before kickoff and is listed as the starter for No. 20 LSU’s SEC opener against Mississippi State. Fournette sat out the Tigers’ win against Jacksonville State last weekend due to a lingering ankle injury he reaggravated in the team’s season-opening loss to Wisconsin.
#LSU vs. @HailState: Leonard Fournette listed as RB starer on Tigers' depth chart. Les Miles did not release depth chart earlier in week.

He ran for 138 yards on 23 carries against the Badgers but was held out of the end zone as LSU’s sluggish offense struggled to consistently move the ball. After falling out of the Heisman Trophy race late last season and being written off early this year, Fournette is likely hoping to relaunch his campaign for the award against the Bulldogs.
LSU (1-1) and Mississippi State (1-1) kick off at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.
