Spring practice is getting underway for LSU on Saturday, and that means the Tigers have assigned jersey numbers to their six early enrollees as well as new numbers for five returning players.

WR D.J. Chark has big shoes to fill wearing No. 7, worn by Leonard Fournette the last three seasons. Other veterans changing numbers are LB Devin White, DE Andre Anthony, WR Jalen Williams and WR Russell Gage.

QB Lowell Narcisse enrolled at LSU this spring and is still rehabbing from a torn ACL last fall, but coach Ed Orgeron had a positive update to share at his spring press conference.

“He’s rehabbing his knee. He’s looking good,” Orgeron said. “He’s working hard out there. He’s lost a little weight, enjoying being an LSU Tiger.”

Other 2017 signees joining Narcisse this spring are 5-star S JaCoby Stevens, S Grant Delpit, OL Austin Deculus, WR Mannie Netherly and DE Justin Thomas.
