LSU sophomore right tackle Toby Weathersby does not appear to be making the trip to Auburn this weekend.

The Tigers’ starting lineman sprained his right ankle in the first half of last week’s win against Mississippi State and did not travel with the team, according to The Advocate.

Weathersby was seen wearing a walking boot earlier this week, but Les Miles didn’t reveal any information after the team’s practices. Miles did, however, say that if Weathersby could not play this weekend, sophomore Maea Teuhema would replace him in the starting lineup.

Teuhema played in the second half of the Mississippi State game after Weathersby left with the injury and is a capable backup for the Tigers. He was in line to become the team’s starting left tackle after spring practice but was hampered by injuries of his own.

LSU and Auburn will kickoff on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET and will be shown on ESPN.
