Entering Tuesday night’s game against Florida, LSU’s previous 4 SEC games had all been decided by 4 points or fewer.
That streak is now 5 games in a row, as the Tigers held on to beat Florida in dramatic fashion in Baton Rouge, with the final score reading 84-82.
However, the game ended with some nerve-wracking moments for the Tigers, as they nearly allowed the Gators to tie the score on this play:

Letting Keyontae Johnson get that wide open on an inbound play wasn’t a great look for Will Wade’s defense. Fortunately for the Tigers, the officials went to the monitor and determined that time had expired before the ball left Johnson’s fingertips.
LSU is now 6-0 in SEC play and is the only undefeated team remaining in conference action. Meanwhile, as Florida tries to bounce back, it will have to do so at home on Saturday against No. 1 Baylor in the Big 12/SEC Challenge.
