Great news to share from Baton Rouge as LSU has just announced all outdoor sporting events will be returning to 100 percent capacity effective immediately.

In addition to that news, masks will no longer be required at LSU sporting events held outdoors and normal tailgating activities can resume with no COVID-related restrictions.

This news comes as Arkansas’ top-ranked baseball team is scheduled to travel to LSU for a weekend series. The first pitch of that series is scheduled for 6 p.m. of Friday followed by a 6:30 p.m. start on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday.

“We are excited about the opportunity to welcome our fans back in full force this weekend,” LSU AD Scott Woodward said in a released statement. “This move is another positive step for us as a campus and community. I want to thank our fans that have patiently waited and abided by the protocols we had in place since our return to competition in the fall. It’s going to be a great sight to see our fans pack Alex Box Stadium, Tiger Park and Bernie Moore this weekend.”
