LSU transfer John Diarse has more receiving yards this season than all Tigers WRs combined
The struggles of LSU’s quarterback play over the years has been chronicled considerably. On Friday, yet another statistic popped up to illustrate this premise even further.
During the TCU/SMU game on Friday night, former LSU receiver John Diarse — now playing for the Horned Frogs — caught a 75-yard touchdown pass. On the year, he’s accrued 275 yards receiving.
All of the LSU receivers combined have 250 yards through the first three games.
TCU WR John Diarse, an LSU grad transfer, is up to 275 receiving yards this season.
LSU's WRs have combined for 256 this season.

Now, this isn’t so much about Diarse as it is about the paltry amount of production from the wide receiver corps. Plenty will point a finger at the play of the signal-callers, but what about the development (or lack thereof) of the quarterbacks by the coaching staff? In addition, is the offensive scheme a bit dated and antiquated?
This certainly can’t make many LSU fans happy to see.
