LSU’s 20-point comeback against Auburn was one for the history books

When Auburn took a 20-0 lead over LSU on Saturday afternoon in Baton Rouge, fans couldn’t be blamed for thinking it was going to be a long day.

However, slowly but surely, coach Ed Orgeron’s squad battled back, eventually pulling off an impressive 27-23 come-from-behind win.

According to the school, the 20-point comeback was the largest in Tiger Stadium since at least 1949:

For Coach O and the Tigers, it was an emotional victory and the team’s second-straight SEC win.

LSU has turned its season around, and things are going well in Baton Rouge right now. With a game against Ole Miss coming up next week before a bye on Oct. 28, the season is getting back on track in Orgeron’s first year at the helm of the program.
