Luke Bennett has been a walk-on wide receiver with the Georgia Bulldogs for the past few years. While he’s only appeared in a couple of games and only has 1 catch for 2 yards, he’ll be known in Athens for a long time as Stetson Bennett IV’s brother.
Stetson, of course, led the Bulldogs to back-to-back national championships, cementing his Georgia legacy for the rest of his life.
Now, though, Luke Bennett will explore his options as the 2025 season approaches. Per a report from Dawgs247, the younger Bennett has entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal:
Fans will remember that Stetson also transferred during his college career. He left Georgia to head to the JUCO ranks before ultimately returning to Athens to become a legend.
Luke Bennett still has 2 years of college eligibility remaining. We’ll see where he ends up playing football in 2025, but don’t rule out a couple of additional stops during his collegiate career.
Bennett appeared in 2 games during his time at Georgia, recording his catch, which went for 2 yards, in the Orange Bowl against Florida State. He also played in the Bulldogs’ win over Tennessee Tech during the 2024 season.
