Luther Burden III and the Missouri Tigers made an unusual road trip to UMass on Saturday afternoon. The No. 21 Tigers were set to face off against a bad UMass squad that entered the contest with a 1-5 record and 0 wins over FBS programs.
It didn’t take long for Mizzou to find the end zone against the Minutemen. In fact, Burden turned a carry on the second play of the game 61 yards for a touchdown.
Here’s a look at the play, which showcases how electric Burden is with the ball in his hands:

Burden has a chance to find his way and put up some big numbers on Saturday afternoon against UMass. Mizzou also has a chance to get its starters out of the game early if things go according to plan.
The Tigers are taking on UMass on ESPN2. We’ll see how many more total yards Burden can rack up before all is said and done.
