Madden Iamaleava is reportedly on the move.

Just a few months after signing with Arkansas out of high school, Iamaleava, the younger brother of former Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava, has informed his coaches that he plans to enter the transfer portal.

That news was first shared by 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz on Monday evening:

Iamaleava was a very late addition to Arkansas’s 2025 signing class as he was previously committed to UCLA. One day after his older brother decided to commit to the Bruins, Madden is set to enter the transfer portal in search of a new home. It’s unclear at this time if UCLA is expected to be a player in Iamaleava’s recruitment out of the portal or not.

For Arkansas, this is a significant loss. Madden Iamaleava was a 4-star prospect and the No. 22 quarterback in the country for the class of 2025, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He was the highest-rated offensive player who signed with the Razorbacks in the most recent high school recruiting class.

Iamaleava is from Long Beach, California. While nothing is official, given the family’s connection to UCLA and his previous commitment to the Bruins, it wouldn’t be too surprising if he ended up back in Westwood with his older brother.

Iamaleava is not able to transfer to another SEC program since he entered the portal during the spring window.
