Malik Nabers is a Biletnikoff Award finalist. This should not come as a surprise to anyone, especially those out of Baton Rouge.

Nabers is one of 3 finalists for the award, which is given annually to the top receiver in college football. Technically, tight ends and anyone else who catches a pass can be eligible – but only WRs have won the award since its inception in 1994.

Nabers is joined by Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. and Washington’s Rome Odunze. And in a year with plenty of talent at WR, there are plenty other fantastic players left off the list.

There’s little doubt that Nabers should be a member of this 3-player group, though. The LSU star has caught 86 passes for 1,546 yards and 14 touchdowns this season for a Tigers offense that is one of the best in the country.

He averaged 128 receiving yards per game. Nabers’ mark of 1,546 is over 100 yards more receiving than 2nd place in the country, Virginia’s Malik Washington.

The winner of the award will be announced on The Home Depot College Football Awards show on December 8.
