The Johnny Manziel experience has been a roller coaster for the Cleveland Browns.
But after just two seasons, it looks like the wild ride is coming to an end.
Sports Illustrated’s Peter King took to Twitter on Sunday evening to explain why the Browns, which fired their general manager and head coach after a failed season, are likely to part ways with the Heisman Trophy winner from Texas A&M:
JFF1: Reported this on @SNFonNBC re Manziel: Browns require players in concussion protocol to be seen by team medic at 9 am on Sunday …

JFF2: … even if they’re not playing. Manziel didn’t show up Sunday. Browns couldn’t reach him on phone. At this point I can tell you …

JFF3: … Browns are so done with the guy. I will be stunned if he ever plays another snap for Cleveland. He wants to go to Dallas.

It seems only fitting that Johnny Football could make a return to Texas to play for Jerry Jones.
Not only would he be an instant fan favorite, but he also would provide an alternative to an aging, injury prone Tony Romo, who missed much of this season with collar bone issues.
