ESPN college football analyst Marcus Spears says he feels good about LSU’s chances of a victory against Texas during Week 2, but he added Friday evening that he already knows what he will be doing if the Tigers lose.
“I’m going dark on Twitter and Instagram,” Spears said.
.@mspears96 on his alma mater’s big game with Texas: “I feel real good, man. … There’s a lot of things that play from the outside into the perception going that will go forward if #LSU wins or if Texas wins. And if Texas wins, I’m going dark on Twitter and Instagram.”

Spears was at LSU the last time the Tigers played the Longhorns in 2003. Texas won that matchup, 35-20.
From 1948-54, LSU and Texas faced off five times, but since then, they have met only twice. They have squared off once in the last 55 years.
Texas holds a 9-7-1 edge in the all-time series.
